"The healing process is mysterious in the same way that the creative process involves mystery. What prompts our whole
selves to engage in this process is also unclear. I believe my work contributes to this process. The round format of my
paintings reminds us all of the many connections we share within the world - it reminds us of the circularity of life itself. The
world I paint has a voice - it is that of the inherent spiritual connectivity we all share. The trees, skies, birds, pearls, flowers and
other things of the world that "appear" in my paintings can speak to each soul, each person yearning toward wholeness and
health. And I hope they do, in their own private, powerful language."
