Anna Halprin Workshops: Moving Toward Life and more

Anna Halprin is "an alchemist of choreography and profound innovator, whose ground breaking creations became a motivating force for a new movement, and inspired generations of dancers to restore forgotten ties between dance and nature and the soul of myth." She and her staff offer courses such as Moving Toward Life, a class which uses movement and artistic expression to enable participants to creatively take part in their own healing process. This approach has been successful for the past twenty years in assisting people challenged by cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Art and Healing Classes at Kaiser Hospital
