| 4Cs Foundation The mandate of the 4Cs Foundation is to build connections between children and their communities through arts projects in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, Canada. They provide grants for community arts projects and provide support, training and networking for people interested in community arts. The Alexia Foundation seeks to "provide the financial ability for a photographer to produce a substantial picture story that furthers the foundation's goals of promoting world peace and cultural understanding." If you've received a grant or award exceeding $1,000 in the previous year, you're not eligible. Judges look for entries that conceive concise, focused and meaningful story proposals.

It was established to provide timely financial assistance to victims of a major disaster for the purpose of helping them rebuild the arts in their community. Relief funds are distributed directly to local arts agencies and other cultural relief efforts. Local arts agencies may use relief funds to assist with their own recovery as well as to provide needed services and funding to local nonprofit arts organizations and individual artists.
